Every dollar brings someone like Shea closer to a home-away-from-home while they face the unimaginable.
Shea was just 13 years old when he was diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL). The nearest centre for treatment was 623 km away! So, when Fight Cancer Foundation stepped in to provide his family with a self-contained unit across the road from the hospital, the relief was immense.
Thanks to people like you, Shea and his family have had a home-away-from home - a safe, secure, loving, comfortable and supportive space - when they needed it most.
Right now, there are many people like Shea, desperate to secure a room in one of our accommodation centres. Men, women, and children from regional and rural Victoria battling life-threatening cancers.
