Give families like Daisy’s a home-away-from-home
Your donation can provide much-needed hope to Australian families like the Pearce’s, giving them essential accommodation throughout cancer treatment.
When the cancer fight is only half the battle
Brave six-year-old Daisy Pearse is fighting cancer and winning. But her mother, Ash, says challenges beyond the hospital ward are a burden that regional families should not have to bear.
After the Pearse family was dealt the cancer diagnosis, they were thrust into the awful predicament of having no fixed place to live while Daisy was in hospital.
“Being told you’re going to get a room and then it falling through is so disappointing,” says Ash.
Fight Cancer Foundation found the Pearse family a long-term accommodation solution so the family could stay together. But there are plenty more families like the Pearse’s who need our support. Please donate today.
$75 gives a family accommodation - for everyone - for one night.
$128 provides a family’s first night's stay and ‘essentials’ pack.
$225 gives five families an essentials pack to get through their first night in their home-away-from-home.

Fight Cancer Foundation
Fight Cancer Foundation is a national charity dedicated to providing care, unique accommodation and support for cancer patients and their families and funding vital research into cancer treatment and cures.
Founded in 1989 as the Bone Marrow Donor Institute to establish Australia’s first bone marrow donor registry and find a cure for leukaemia, the organisation’s broader scope now provides support services for patients impacted by all types of cancer.
Our support services include accommodation for rural and interstate patients accessing major treating hospitals in New South Wales, Tasmania and Victoria, research into better treatments and cures, as well as education support to young learners undergoing cancer treatment.
